Richard Benyon wants a Cinema in Newbury

Responding to the grossly dishonest Press Release from the Liberal Democrats regarding the Conservative Cinema Advertising Campaign, Richard Benyon said,

“It is the action of a very desperate Candidate when he resorts to this sort of dishonest campaigning.  Conservatives in West Berkshire are very supportive of a new cinema and, when I am elected as MP for Newbury, I look forward to attending the opening and using the cinema with my family.

We have questioned the need for public money to subsidise the operator, but have been supportive of a new cinema throughout the process.  Mr Rendel’s campaign is one of continuous negativity.  It is a pity he doesn’t listen to his Leader’s appeal for positive and honest campaigning in this Election
